FT reviews are coming in very positive.
Unfortunately it seems that all seats will have shoulder straps. Guess that means goodbye to carseats in UA J?

family members are scheduled to fly the SFO-TLV route shortly on 787-9 biz class. it is marketed as Polaris on UA website, but the seat config shown is 2-2-2, so doesnt look like its the new seats.

question is, what does the "Polaris" designation really mean for this flight?

Don't forget you need to ask to get the PJs, gel pillow, mattress pad, etc.

How does that work in practice? Do they not stock enough in the cabin for all the pax to have these amenities? If they don't, is it first come, first served? I can certainly understand that some frequent flyers would have no desire for the PJs, but who would not want a better pillow and mattress pad to sleep on a long-haul.

Anyone fly in the 777-200 Polaris soft product yet?
Have it booked for Israel (2-2-2 layout). The have the 777-300 with new 1-2-1 on the late night flight but the timing doesn't work for me. Curious if the 777-200 is any decent with the new soft product already launched.

There is better bedding and possibly PJs, what else would you like to know?
KSMLs are still KSMLs, but if you don't do KSMLs then the food and wine should be better as well.

Yeah, was wondering if the seats, screens or anything else was upgraded yet or is it just some new "accessories" and food upgrade until the full transition. Pretty weak if Polaris is marketed the way it is (and written on the ticket) if it's just a new Saks pillow and a teddy bear.

From my understanding there also isn't enough of the new bedding for the all business class. Can I request that before takeoff or will that only be supplied once your ready to use them?

Not sure if this is the right place to post...found for tomorrow 5/5 UA #300 SFO-HNL seems to have plenty saver award available on the newly retrofitted Polaris business class 777-200.
