Hi. I was just on the phone with Avis finalizing a rental.
Before finishing they asked me if I would like to be transferred to Wyndham offers.
Once I was transferred the agent offered me a package of 3 nights at any branch of their hotel, plus a 200$ Amex gift card.
The wants me to make payment now of 249.00 and I qualify for this promo.
I didnt want to make payment so they gave me an offer of cancelling within 15 days free of charge.
Anyone familiar?

If you have the time and patience to sit through their presentation, then go for it. Many people save a lot of money this way.

Canceling isn't so easy. Has to be in writing. I sent a certified letter and wasn't refunded. I had to do a chargeback via Amex.

I'm planning on doing this mattress run with two stays in the Atlanta area this week. Not $20-25/night for me, but $65/night with the taxes. Still a good deal, as I plan to redeem for a night in NYC next year.

My question: What are the best (or least-worst) Wyndam hotels in Manhattan for a Shabbat stay? Some possibilities:
