I wasn't living at home when I got mine, (so the parents didn't have much say about it) though when my father found out I got the license he asked me not to come home with it as my mother would freak out... then I had a helmet delivered to my parents house and my mother asked me what it was so I told her it was a helmet... she was slightly surprised but just asked that I be careful on it. They finally did see it when I didn't realize I was supposed to go to a siblings sheva brachos and I went to work by motorcycle that day so I went to sheva brachos with it and they got all excited to see it... since then they had no issue with it.

My wife... when we were dating she came for a ride and fell in love with it!
