Starbucks & Lyft Partner
« on: August 10, 2016, 08:13:16 PM »
Per DoC

You should be able to get 5x on Lyft by buying GCs at Starbucks. Plus you'll get a $5 Starbucks GC when you buy a $20 Lyft GC.

Thanks, just bought 20 cards! The guy was able to do it al in one transaction but still had to give me 20 different Starbucks cards. The supply by store seems to be very limited, this particular store in the city had 24 cards altogether. You can pay with a Starbucks card, and technically you should also get stars for it since only Starbucks gift cards are excluded but I haven't read all the T&C so I am not 100% sure. The only annoying thing is that each card shows up as a separate credit on your Lyft account vs to just being added to the total credit.

I think he means the freedom 5% (https://creditcards.chase.com/freedom/merchants), but I got a better deal by buying on Cardpool. You can probably get better discounts but I saw the email right in front of a Starbucks so I chose the most practical option.
