Download the Samsung music app. Connect phone to computer. Go into computer music files in your file Explorer and transfer into the music file on ur phone. Drag and drop.

Thanks.  Tried transferring the itunes files as suggested but they won't transfer... getting an error message instead... not sure if they are somehow "protected" so that they can't be transferred.

Any other ideas or workarounds?

They must be stored somewhere on the computer (the actual music files) find them and copy paste (or maybe they have to be converted to mp3 first for galaxy's)

Alternatively you can take the ipod/iphone that has the music and copy it to the computer using sharepod, then transfer to the android device.
