This has nothing to do with that. PGGM doubling up can be done with a regular platinum card.

I am a relative new comer to your wonderful forum - I have been reading up on the upgrade and the $200 airline credits. I perhaps can shed some light on why the 25K offer is not working.

If you look at the 30K offer - at the top left at end of 1st paragraph you see a number 1 - if you click the 1, gives lots of info regarding the 30K offer and expiry date.

The old 25K offer was set up in a similar manner - when you clicked the number 1, it said Expires 10/31/2013 with Bonus ID 8556 also shown.

I was upset about this, as I am a new cardholder for the business card, and have not reached my $5000 spend level to get my 50,000 MR - I took the view (rightly or wrongly) that it was not a good idea to change to the Platimun until I hit my spend level on the Gold.

I will still upgrade in December to the Business Platinum with the 30K MR/$10K spend offer (if that is the best one at the time) so that I can take advantage of the $200 credit in 2013 and in 2014.

As I dont think I will meet $10K in only 2 months, I will then downgrade so that the $450 charge is re-imbursed.

I can also upgrade the Personal card - and will wait until around 10 Nov to do this - again, so that I can get the $200 credit in 2013 and in 2014 before downgrading. I see the 25K personal offer is still available.

So overall, I hope to get a bonus of 25,000 MR and $800 credit.

How do you upgrade the personal card? do you get the bonus if you already had a mb plat but cancelled it a few months ago?

Do additional cardholders (employees) on the AMEX Business Platinum get the same benefits as the primary cardholder? I notice that threads mention a $175 fee for 3 additional cardholders getting benefits on the consumer card but don't  see anything about the business card?
