I don't know which link I used. What's wrong with the wiki link ? Where in the process does it go wrong. When I opened the link it works now too

why wouldn't I get them if I confirmed with an agent and she noted my account so ? I mean even if there is a technical issue with the terms and conditions they will have to give it to me.

You should downgrade to green and may get 5K more points. Also, the fee is less

IIRC only one purchase. Also, Amex then may offer u to upgrade to gold again for more points. This just happened to me.

I had a BGR card that I cancelled in May 2012, then I reapplied in 2013 and got it again, and cancelled in July 2013, but Amex can find no record of me having a business card in 2013.

Anyone ever had their timer vanish like that?

Try it. No loss. Do PGGM while you're at it. That will for sure work. Just make sure to downgrade in a timely manner

Can you still cancel/downgrade for a refund on your annual fee after getting the bonus points? Also, do they let you go back and forth multiple times?

I upgraded a few days ago from BGR to plat and in my amex online account it shows the plat card, however I still haven't received it in the mail.

Will my spending now (before activation of the Plat) count towards the 10K threshold I need to meet?

(I have the a strong feeling the answer is no, but just figured I'd ask just in case)
