I recently was offered a 30k to upgrade to the Biz plat card from the Green card. I plan on doing a 3bm next week which will include a new welcome bonus for the Biz plat card. Would taking the upgrade offer effect my upcoming 3bm? Are you able to hold 2 biz plat cards for the same account at the same time?

first apply for the new one and then upgrade the green because you can only get the welcome bonus for Amex business cardsif you haven't had the card for 12 months

Makes sense thanks. My green card and new biz plat card will both have the same entity assigned to them. Can I still upgrade the green card to the biz platinum card while I currently already have one already in the same business name or do I have to complete the spend and receive the welcome bonus on the new card and cancel it before I do the upgrade to the green card?

you can have 2 plat at the same time for the same business but iirc the experts say to only upgrade once you get the bonus on the new plat

Thanks for the feedback.That would be excellent if it works. My strategy is to do the 3bm next week, earn burn and cancel the new cards while holding onto the current green card and paying the $95 fee until I do the 30k upgrade in December to plat biz (which iirc should not cause an additional pull since tech it's in the same product group) do a pggm in december and again in jan to fully recoup my fees and then downgrade afterwards.

I am def still a newbie in all of this but I'm loving it:)

Is there a limit to how many things you can do this? i.e upgrade to the plat, then downgrade, then upgrade again, etc.

its targeted and not everyone is eligible for this upgrade offers. but there is a lot success reports up-thread getting this offer by phone , I personal got it 7 months ago by calling
