Anyone have a new working upgrade link? The one posted in the wiki was working a few days ago when testing but now not working for me.

I was just approved for amex biz, and I have an offer to upgrade my current brg, can I do that now, or do I have to wait until I complete the spending on my new amex biz card?

Can probably do it now already. You can also spend on the current one, get points and then upgrade later. This way if you downgrade or close the initial one, you still can have a Plat card another couple months for free.

I want to cancel the brg card already, bec I paid the AF a few months ago, (I know it wasn't the smartest thing) but I wanted to apply for the new card first bec I was afraid if I upgraded first, and then applied for the new card, they could say, I had the product within the last year, so this way I have the product and now have the upgrade offer.

Well just factor in the added benefits you would get from the Platinum in a couple of months if you keep BRG open. You will lose some money on the AF, but you can get the $200 airline credit x2, GE credit and the other stuff. The airline credit alone is worth it to keep the BRG open.

Why cant I upgrade now, get the airline credit x2, sbs, and the cancel/ downgrade to green both of them in January after the 2nd airline credit hits and then I save on the BRG AF, now?

You only get the two months "free" on the Amex. If you upgrade now, you will not get the airline credit for 2015 and 2016.

I hear, do you think the upgrade will still be available in 2 months?
other thoughts are: 1. I want another TSA precheck- do I pay the $175 for the AU? on this card?
and 2. I have a personal plat code for 100mr- should I apply for that now also? I also was approved for obc today

If you applied today, may as well roll the pulls into one day. ..

In regards to GE, you can always add a user, get the credit and then decide they do not need the card...

ok, after I get the au and the GE credit- when do you have to cancel to get the au fee refunded?
the personal code expires 10/19/2015- if I wait till then and then apply, I will still be 60 days out, so at this point, worth rolling into 1 pull? I also have a brg offer for 75k and I could do starwood biz, if those make anymore sense?

60 days from when AF posts.

If you can do all the spend, just go for them now.

I meant when can you get the 175 fee for the AU refunded until?

nevermind, I found it,- 60 days to refund fee for AU also, I guess I will wait, so I can have them for sbs and then cancel them

Probably depends on your CR. But different cards, so shouldn't be too bad.

anyone know how long the offer will be in our accounts to upgrade from BRG to platinum? Do we have a few months? Sometimes it shows up in my Amex offers and sometimes it does not.

is the "new link" in the wiki not working? It takes me to a general page for the plat biz card with no mention of any upgrade or anything. Sorry, I have not done this in a year or two......is this whole process dead unless you call or get the offer on your login?
