I think you're confusing "Priority Pass" with "Global Entry".
to enroll- definitelyquestion is what happens when you cancel the amex. does the PP account stay open (my guess) until year end or something. or will PP be notified and shut the account right away. (clear possibility, as they warn about occasional updating)we'll know that in a few months...

My guess is that it works fine until the priority pass's expiration.
i think that makes the most sense, because, it's a gift that amex gives you for (once) having the plat card. this gift expires in 3 years, why does the fact that the plat is cancelled make any difference. i'd compare it to the bonus miles you get for applying for the amex, just because you cancel has nothing to do with it.
It does say in the fine print that they will check with Amex throughout having the card though...
I'm not arguing with the theory, just saying they do claim it won't work... Not surprised they claim it won't either.
There is no membership card for Global Entry - it is linked to your passport. You scan the passport at the kiosk, scan your right hand, and off you go... In addition, there is a little sticker they put on the last page of your passport to show the customs guys (that's the long line after you pick up your luggage) that you're entitled to cut in front of the line.
is there any chance the card which says the PP is good until 4/14 will work anyhow?
