uhhh some bad news everyone...i just got my PP card in the mail and tried to log in w/ the code they provided...it didn't work!

i called and they said that my membership expired last week...the same date i canceled my amex plat cuz of a stupid F/R..so beware...is there any chance the card which says the PP is good until 4/14 will work anyhow?

sounds like amex reports the closed card and PP closes the account. libi omer li that the card won't work...

what r they swiping for....shouldnt it come up as a canceled card if they do hence youll get bounced out of the PP?

Huh? 3rd party? What's the difference if a club swipes a canceled AMEX card or a canceled PP card?

the club that swipes the amex is owned not ny amex but by an airline, which we've learned will batch-bill amex. the club that swipes the PP card is owned by PP-more likely to a)notice immediately that the PP account is closed (if indeed they close it upon closure of plat card) b)bill the entrance to the owner of the closed PP account.

possibly, because they get reimbursed from the card issuers, so they need to keep  a record of how many or which cards used the service.
