I Just completed my GOES interview at JFK, took about 5 miniutes.

I asked them if i travel with family members who r not registered ie: children, and she said you can still go to the GOES kiyosk, and you will meet the officer there who will take you the front of the line

for those of us who have arrived on a 747, the line could be big.
can you elaborate on the gist of the interview? what were/weren't they looking for?

is it worth it. the wait for luggage is still the same long. even after going through customs (long line) i still wait for my baggage
youre question is if free is worth it? besides you can get a better position by the carousel

I cant say ive ever even thought about my position at the carousel, however just the idea of not having to stand in line forever is enticing.

Here are the questions:
Have you been arrested? have you ever had a problem with border police or imigration?
if you answer, NO then you are not a criminal.

Had to show proof of address ie: Driver license
hay took a picture of me while sitting at the desk, (Looks like a webcam). then they scanned my finger prints, then they approved me in the system on the spot, and trained me how to use the kiosk mechine. (They have one in the office for training)

people were very friendly

Does it really say that on the application, because it implies something that isn't true. Being arrested and/or having a problem with border control/immigration doesn't make someone a criminal...

Has anyone else noticed that the applications seem to be pending for much longer?
I applied when it first started and it took a few days for them to approve the app.
My wife applied like 3 weeks ago and its still pending.
Perhaps they are bogged down with apps from all the new amex plat cardholders

i asked them the same question (in lax) and they told me if i brought my kid to the kiosk, they would immediately revoke my ge membership. there are 0 benefits for someone thats not a member, including front of the line

I was told in EWR that since I usually travel with a kid  I CAN   go to the front of the line and just show the sticker in the back of the passport......
