La Quinta Points: 5,375 - Anyone need them? Can they be transferred?

I'm getting mail that these points will expire & to use them up for magazines.
No thanks.  Can anyone use them & if so can they be transferred?
(I haven't stayed at a LQ in 15+ years......)

Free nights start at 6k, so might be worth to transfer some in, otherwise you can only get magazines with it.
