Missing Girl

The NYPD and Flatbush Shomrim are actively searching for a missing 12-year-old girl named “Batya” who never made it to school on Monday.

She was last seen on Monday morning crossing Avenue P between East 13th and East 14th Streets.

She never arrived at her school (Bnos Yisroel), which located on East 15th Street between Avenue P and Kings Highway.

A command post has been established near her home on East 10 Street between Avenue O and Avenue P.

Dozens of Shomrim members are combing the streets, and the NYPD is going through security camera footage for additional clues. And  NYPD chopper was hovering overhead searching as well.

If anyone sees this girl, or has any info that can help in locating her, please call 911 and Flatbush Shomrim immediately at 718-338-9797.

Oyvey. She should be found quickly and healthy.
As a side note, it seems like this school must have a similar policy as my kids school, where the call the parents of every kid that is still absent by 10. (Of course we're supposed to call if it is planned so they don't waste their time calling). Every school should have this policy.

Nothing is black and white. Not so simple that Al tiftach is real. Gemorah talks about sheidim. Rambam says they don't exist.

You can't take one (controversial) Rambam and use it to dismiss any Gemara you are uncomfortable with.

I'm not dissmissimg it just pointing out that you can't say Gemorah says something especially when it's not a basic halachically but a spiritual issue which can be aggadah.
