No go unfortunately. I am wondering if i close the cards and reapply in a few months, if they will automatically ask for a 4506 every time i reapply.

If they close it it's a guarantee. If you close it I think you might be fine.

Why wouldn’t you give them the tax returns? Even if it’s much less, usually they will only cut the credit line but will remain open.

Because I don't have one. I'm Canadian and don't live in the US, so i don't have a return for 2022. I made some commission income from buying groups in 2023 so i just filed a return as non-resident alien. What i am going to do is close my account and try to reapply in a few months.

What i am not sure of is if AMEX would shut me down again or even approve on the basis of low income on the tax return (because it's just going to be commission and not a full time job)

If the tax return shows very little income, do AMEX consider bank statements or not if they show higher cashflow? Wondering if they would consider this if you it as non-taxable income
