This is probably only worth it if you maximize the cashback on the Freedom card, otherwise Chase has lots of much more lucrative signup bonuses.

Is this 2 seperate offers/2 seperate cards, or is it one card rnat gives $100 after spending $500 and then another $100 after spending an additional $1000 ?

Same card type, two different applications offering different signup bonuses. i.e. if you applied for either card you'd only get the bonus associated with that card if you fulfilled the spend requirement.

Interesting why only on this card they you have to answer that you were not declined credit from chase in the last six months. Are they strict about this even if approved afterwards from recon.?

i recently applied for this card and got denied. ive had a CC - capital one journey - for the last 7 month, it is my first CC and paid all bills on time. how long do i need to wait until i can get approved for another card? i dont know why i was declined.

im not sure i know what recon means or stands for? but if ur asking if i called to find out why from chase, then no i didnt yet. they wrote in the letter that i can call within a certain amount of days.

but i was just wondering from everyones experience in CC's, how long must one wait usually after the first CC? and does it make a diff which CC i apply for after that.

I just called them and the rep told me that since I only had one card (cap1) for 7 months, he would like to see more credit history than that - even though I paid it all on time.

Does that make sense?
