I got the 55k offer that was avail. in Nov. my question is about the 5k points for AU, does AU card have to be "SWIPED" ?

Please explain this further. How do they know it's the AU card being swiped when it's the same number as the primary card? It's just a mag stripe, there's no special information in there.

Happened to me too, just send them a SM and they'll apply it. No min spending required.

yes the magnetic strip includes the cardholder name, the question is for key/online transaction.
