Dogfish Head Indian Brown Ale

Anyone know if this is kosher? It has Caramelized Brown Sugar, which makes me a little nervous.
On their website it says:

None of our beers contain artificial flavors nor do they contain wine/champagne yeast. However, we have never sought any kind of rabbinical kosher certification and we don’t really go out to source kosher ingredients. We source the best ingredients for the flavors we are trying to create.

Right, but that quote I cited is talking about their beers in general. The only thing added to this one is the Caramelized Brown Sugar. Or is that what you meant, that this is an added flavor?...

So i spoke to a kashrus rav and he said it's okay. If anyone want to actually try this stuff and wants to know who I asked feel free to PM me, because Im not sure if he'd appreciate me just putting his name on the internet. Shkoyach!
