Bad csr's (master thread)
« on: April 24, 2011, 07:22:40 PM »
Hey. Last week I took my antenna out of my virgin mobile usb modem and out came the internal antenna too. I called vm cs # and was told "if there is any damage that voids the warrenty". I posted a complaint on twitter and vm contacted me and gave me a email address they send the following:
Good Afternoon,

I am sorry but, when you pulled out the aftermarket antenna then pulled it out and that is what broke the internal antenna. It is considered damage by you that is not covered. The device was designed that way and was not meant for any additional antennas. Anyone who does not use an aftermarket antenna do not have these issues like what you are having.

Thanks,
Marcus L.

I sent back:

There is a port for aftermarket antennas of course it meant for that. This is getting more pathetic by the second. It was built irresponsibly. I plan on doing everything in my power to right this wrong that you are commuting. Its not even about the money now. Now its about the principal of the matter.

I started a twitter # virginmobilesux.
Please tweet that to support my couse
