Gas Prices plummeting = Cheaper Airfare? Wait to buy tickets?
« on: November 19, 2008, 10:23:54 PM »
Ok, Gas prices are going down, which would explain why prices of Israel flights are semi-reasonable.
The thing is, I priced a flight out a few days ago (as I mentioned here http://www.dansdeals.com/forums/index.php?topic=649.0 ), but pushed off actually buying it for a few days to think it over.

I went back to the site today, priced out the exact same flight, only now I noticed its $899.xx, and 2 days ago it was $900.xx!
Ok, its only like a dollar difference, but usually prices go UP the closer you get to a flight date, not DOWN!
So, prices are plumetting still!
What does this mean?

Should I wait longer and see if it goes down to buy my tickets?  What do you people think?
