If people can't understand ALOL, then I have to go with the copyrighted AALOL

Wondering, did you get dirty?
Amazing stuff! How did you not get crapped on? (or did you?)

Surprisingly, not. I did capture one, shall we say... artsy silhouette, but that was as close as it got.

Do you think you can get published?
Maybe Ami or Mishpacha or Zman?

Those photos are unbelievable!

A murmuration of starlings in the corn fields:

The geese were gathered in tremendous numbers on the alfalfa field when we got there. All of a sudden, a blast-off larger than any we'd seen that day occurred:

The numbers of birds here is simply beyond comprehension.

I'm doing a project now which I needed some real numbers, so I actually counted the birds visible in the above shots. There are over 1500 starlings in that little ball, and over 6000(!) snow geese in the next picture.

Just unbelievable.

Lightroom's spot removal tool at 400% helps to visualize them better.

I'm still slightly dizzy though ;D

I sure hope you're getting paid at least $5 per bird counted.  ;D
