I purchased this monitor and am having some trouble anyone know why the screen would be gray with movable cursor?
I have the identical monitor purchased this one to use as dual but when plugged in I get video card error so I tried plugging the new one in as single i get a blank screen with arrow left click right click gets me nada.  Little button on right has it set to auto detect vga or hdmi.

My old one working fine so assuming something in settings or monitor is faulty but I purchased 2 and both doing the same thing.

Try using the cable from the old one with the new one.
