New Bus Line from Jerusalem - Ben Gurion Airport - Jerusalem #485

On Feb. 13 2017, Afikim bus company will start a bus ride # 485 from Central bus station ( Tachana Merkazit) to Ben Gurion Airport and from Ben Gurion Airport to Jerusalem. it will operate 24/6, 1 bus every hour.
The plan is for the bus to start off at the CBS and make additional stops in the city.
Bus fare will be 16 Shekels each way.
Rumor has it that each passenger can take only 1 suitcase.

CBS is going to be the second stop. First stop will be on Rechov Kaplan. I'm just not eying that even with only one suitcase per passenger where they think they are having room!!

Same as standard intercity bus, on the bottom. Problem is everybody is going to have a carry-on too (and Jewish carry-ons tend to be the size of freight containers).

This bus will drop off at the terminal just like the taxi, so it's a lot more convenient.

Egged has a bus going to Tzomet elal and from there you take another bus to the terminal.

I highly doubt nesher feels threatened by this. U have to shlep to CBS or kaplan whereas they bring u door to door plus luggage loading unloading.

true, yet anyone taking this bus would've taken nesher till now. I was by the 485 bus stop yesterday at CBS and it was packed. Btw, Officially  nesher charges 39nis to drop you off by CBS instead of 70, but no driver is ever gonna be willing to take you there. Also, the door to door service will take you hours if you're not going to a central location.

I think is more like 42 shek and yes they will take you but only from TLV to CBS. They don't do the other way around
