If only they can have it sync with Google contacts and have WhatsApp working on it, I know quite a few people that would rather have that over a "smartphone". I personally am craving for something along those lines with a full qwerty keyboard

And there's a big part of me that actually really wants one of those 3310's.

1 month standby time.
Snake.
Nokia ringtone.

Ah... nostalgia.

You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used to start a religious discussion.

AT&T is phasing out 2G support.

When Golan started out in Israel, they only supported 3G and up (IINM that changed when they dropped the idea of having their own towers, which is a story in an of itself, and probably a violation of the T&C of their operator license).

At 2.5G, what kind of longevity will this phone have?

What we need to see is a sturdy phone, with long battery life, physical keys (preferably QWERTY, think Nokia E72 - which has serious memory management issues) and support for voice and text communications (including WhatsApp and the likes).

Are you reading my mind?
Had the same question about the 2.5G.

In other words we need a feature phone with support for a few important apps.

Need a phone (or should we say a communication device) for good reliable voice and text communication, that can be operated with one hand, using some muscle memory to be able to operate without even looking at it, compatible with current global mobile transmission technologies, and flexible OS to allow various TEXT communication apps.

Does anybody have this phone and do you know if it's whatsapp compatible?

I'm pretty sure it's not.
