You can get goodwill/courtesy credit for a variety of true or false stories with some amount of pestering. That's still not a match, which Chase (for example) can do by actually going into the system and changing your offer for you, so that the new amounts will post at the right time on its own.

My thought, which may be wrong, was this: This is the same into offer that was applied for x days ago but there is an addition to the offer now available which they may tack on. It's different than applying with a 25k bonus as opposed to a 35k bonus. The main offer was and is 25k, they are now just adding an additional promo.

Now I need to decide when to apply for these...I just opened 3 amex business cards a couple weeks back but have no personal cards with them at the moment. How much trouble do you think they'll give me?

from personal experience they didn't let me get more than 2 lending cards within 90 days.
