*TIME SENSITIVE* How many Idaho potatoes are in a 5 pound bag?

A bit random but I'm in a commercial kitchen and they only have a 50pound bag of potatoes, by any chance you guys would know an estimated amount of potatoes for a 5 pnd bag? Thanks a ton!
 Waiting to know how many to peel for my potato kugal.. want to make 2-3 kugals now so first response that makes sense gets a like and a transferred ht. Lol

If it's worth anything my guess would be about 15 of the smaller ones that typically come in those bags

It obviously depends on the size of the potatoes, my guess would be anywhere from 1.5 to 3 potatoes per pound, so a five pound bag could be anywhere from 8 large to 16 medium potatoes.

When you get a regular 5 pound of potatoes you would use for a kugal in a 9x13 pan, a simple bag from the grocery!

If it's bigger potatoes they'll be less, smaller potatoes then more.

So peel the whole 50lb bag, and we can Kugel (it's a verb too) all night.

Which leads me to wonder, why didn't you just empty the bag, and divide the 10 equal-sized piles of potatoes. Or even just three piles so you'd have ~16.7 pounds that you can then divide to 3 so you have three batches of just over 5lbs each.
