I'm paying annually.  But I'm grandfathered in to have 4 sub-members - that each pay me $20 for free shipping privileges.  So prime cost me $19/ year.

The old system of Amazon Prime allowed the primary to add 4 'relatives' separate accounts onto the main account.  All we share is Prime.  Totally separate otherwise.  I know nothing about them except their names and email addresses.  They get free shipping.  Only the primary Prime account gets all the Prime stuff - movies, etc .
Very sad that Amazon changed away from it.
