I looked into this a year ago and there where only some very convoluted ways to do it, none of which I could figure out. (Never mind explain to a computer illiterate) ... I believe someone suggested upthread to move the latest backup file in your phones memory to the new phone. And hope WhatsApp finds it to restore from it..

I used this app a few years ago. They had a free app that only transferred chat history without media.

I tested it and then purchased the full version.

WhatsApp migrator worked fine for me just now. But I couldn't get the media restored, only messages (because I couldn't find the media backup file)

It should give you instructions on how to locate it.

I've downloaded Parallel Space on my phone to have a separate Business WhatsApp.

There will be someone else that will share the account via WhatsAppWeb.

Is there a way for me to block the access to my contacts on that account? ( I can probably just remove permission for contacts )

Or filter it so that it only syncs with contacts on my business email account?

I don't have an answer, but a question.
Do you need parallel space for Whatsapp Business? Isn't it a separate app, and you can have both?

Android phone? Why not use dedicated Whatsapp Business app?

You can have 2 WhatsApp accounts on on phone. Nothing to do with whatsapp Business.

Android phone.
I haven't really looked into WhatsApp business, but my understanding is it would be no different.

I'm not 100% clear what's going on (I'm not familiar with WhatsApp). Would it help to create a guest account on your phone itself (assuming it's a later version of Android)? Then you can just switch between phone user accounts whenever you want to check your messages and I don't think any personal info is shared between user accounts
My Tapatalk notifications don't always work.

I see that I can block Parallel Spaces ability to see my contacts. The question is if there is a way to add contacts via an Excel list to WhatsappWeb?

Seems like the only difference between the the business account Is that it can have a profile at this point

Yes, but to download apps from play store you have to connect it to an account. If you don't want to add an account, maybe using the apk file of WhatsApp would work ( I never tried so idk).

So I don't see that option on my phone. I had the Pixel 2 for a few weeks and I clearly remember seeing it there.

My phone is using Marshmallow..
