This is the time of the year when supermarkets and groceries make their money. Judging by the crowds and the huge overflowing wagons, it's not hard to conclude that they're slaughtering the Boro Park grocery industry.

Or NPGS in Lakewood. Beginning afternoon before Pesach you can't move in the stores. Literally. You stop to take something off a shelf and there are carts in front of you and carts behind you, taking up the while aisle.

Great price. There now. At 10:30 pm on a Wednesday night, I couldn't find a wagon. Packed.

Looks like many trailers unloaded today, because the entire street level is full with dozens and dozens of pallets. Just bring a forklift and walk off.

Great point assuming that they aren't selling things at a loss just to take away business from others.

FYI in Israel they also started very cheap and every single week the prices creep up on a different item.

Recommendation: watch the cash register as your items are being rung up, especially if non-barcode items such as fruits and vegetables. I bought tomatoes and was charged more than double the price because the cashier entered the code for sweet peas. Luckily it was a small list and I noticed it while looking at the receipt in the elevator. Had to waste time to get it adjusted.
