My sis in laws flight out of tlv, was just cancelled. Can I force them to rebook her onto a different airline?

I'm actually on the flight. They are working on rebooking all passengers. Where is her final destination? JFK? MIA?

Many of the 120 pax headed for JFK were rebooked to LY/UA. Others on TK etc.
Pax to MIA are mostly still stranded. (About 60)
