preserving miles (US airways, and delta)
« on: December 28, 2008, 01:27:37 AM »
Does anybody know of someway to use my Delta miles account, so that they won't expire in 3 days (preferably free)?
Secondly, being that delta warned me that i was about to lose my miles, i realized that i got to check up my US airways miles, and i discovered in one of my e-mails from them, i noticed an e-mail titled "Don't lose your Dividend Miles", where i discovered that i had already without warning had my account deactivated, and i could reactivate for a $40 fee and then save my miles by doing something (or else the miles would expire). Does anybody know how i could reactivate the account without payingthe fee?

Any activity on the Delta account will extend the life of the mileage. Either use some points or use a service like FTD to get a few delta points which will be considered activity- look it up on the delt website.
