Trying to call a us number from canada (866) 792-7669 but says error cant call.

Any way around this while using a BlackBerry?

Some TF #s have restrictions on countries.
call from a us number like GV or ask a friend in US to conference call you

Was trying to avoid that, but it seems like my only option, thanks though, will try from a land line phone hopefully it will work!

My guess is the company you're calling opted out of offering TF to Canada and mobile won't work either.

The number doesn't bite you could have called, it was actually Swap a lease! I guess they only want to deal with US residents!

When you call a toll free number they pay your phone company for each minute of the call, if they have no business in Canada then they don't really care for Canadian calls.
