Very well made! Big carts, large aisles and long registers. The prices are cheaper on most items and okay on others. I grabbed really nice tuna steaks for $7.99/lbs (usually pay $14.99, $11.99 on sale) and the "baby" salmon fillets were the same price.

Ahh makes more sense. They probably get through Bingo, because Osher Ad in israel has them for a while already.

yes, I purposely visited in early afternoon on a Tuesday and it was a pleasant experience with wide, clean aisles, helpful staff, great cut up fruits and vegetable prices and excellent shelf-stable products. In my opinion I would do all weekly shopping there if I was a resident, other than meat and chicken...

Because of Shchita, or something else?

no, if it would be a good deal, then it would still be recommended, regardless of shchita. I found some navel pastrami, however overall the pricing, quality, and selection of the meat and chicken wasn't as good as the grocery, shelf items, fruits, vegetables, nuts/dried fruits, and dry goods. Bingo is known for great back-to-school items, household/pre-Purim items, etc...

And here we see their strategy is simply the same as the typical secular supermarket. Have some loss leaders on the items which are on people's minds while charging more for the items which people will buy along with them once they are there.

definitely and I haven't seen any limits so far, so it works. They also eliminate the middle-man/distributor year round for many products, so that can save $1/per item on average...
(Bought 350 schmerling bars at $1.99/bar for Purim basket school fundraiser.) Very helpful staff, too.

It's frozen Tuna
Yea, unless you buy from the market your tuna has probably been frozen before, at least that's what it is around me and exceptions exist. Some stores even have a sign to let people know. Reminds me people who think fresh meat was never frozen before, there's nothing wrong with that, it's part of the process. I'm only comparing it to similar tuna sold at $12-14 in other stores.
