To put this into perspective:

Alitalia Premium Economy on the a330 offers a pitch of 38 and width is 19

Air Transat Club Class on the a330 has a pitch of 36 and width of 21.5

Except... AZ requires a stop and Air Transat does not (for those in YUL). Also, in this context, width is more important than pitch.

PSA if anyone books this make sure to choose a seat in the first row, as there are many reports from people who've sat in the 2nd row and said it wasn't worth it. When the first row reclines it's difficult to get out of your seat.

Landing on a Thursday at 2pm YUL. Whats the minimum connection time I would need for a separate itinerary flight? Have to get luggage, go through Canadian customs(I assume) and recheck in.

starting to think its probably cheaper to drive.

RT for 3 LGA-YUL is ~ $600 (+$100 for 2 suitcases RT if status matches don't come through)

Driving is ~2 tanks of gas RT ($100)
NY tolls ($35 RT)
Paying for hotel anyways in first scenario since we would be flying in night before so its just the paying for parking which at first glance is ~5 day x 7 days ($35)
Depreciation of car with 800 miles ($154)

Total: $324 driving and no need to pay for uber to get food in montreal in the AM.

So unless I am missing a cheshbon it should be big saver. Yea I know its a lot of driving but its 6 hours driving vs 3.5 hour fly/airport time.
