May be the wrong place for this question, but it does relate to the food deals being posted here.

Has anyone ever researched whether there is a Chometz She'avar Alav HaPesach issue with this company?

Bigger question is the products that are actually being sold by third parties.

that would be impossible to find out unless you spoke to the seller

No way to really research that one. Similar question might even apply to where the order is fulfilled by Amazon where they are holding stock for the third party. Both of those are issues well above my pay grade.

I'm just wondering about products which are sold and fulfilled by Amazon.

My understanding is that anything sold by amazon.com is ok since majority ownership is goyish. No way to know about third party sellers though so make sure you're aware who you're buying from.

Sure, you just message them and ask. That's what I did, and they told me they sold their chometz through the beis din of new square.

sold by and FBA are different.

First- its only a problem if the seller is Jewish

Second- You cannot sell chometz not in your possession. So if the chometz is in FBA the sale would be problematic.

just an fyi, amazon commingles fba inventory from sellers who don't label their goods (another words the product you get may actually be from a Jewish 3rd partys inventory at fba even when you order from amazon as the seller)

you can read up more about commingling sticker less inventory here....

I understand that fulfilled by Amazon is not the same as sold by Amazon, its on me for not being clear enough. I am not inquiring as to FBA and would not even know how you could research it because you would need to know the terms of the agreement between Amazon and the seller as to possession of the goods which are being FBA.

My only question is as to items which are "Ships from and sold by Amazon.com" as to whether there is a concern of Chometz She'Avar Alav HaPesach.

There are also non-Jewish owned supermarkets that are problematic due to using Jewish suppliers (who don't sell their chometz obviously). Don't see why that same issue wouldn't need to be clarified for Amazon.

My LOR darshens about it every year, due to a number of merchants that daven there. Didn't listen, because it didn't matter to me. It's discussed.
