sara and sarah   since then i always verify before booking for her which one it is...  i believe the checkin desk. although it was some time ago so im not sure

In LGA security made an issue where the name on the ID was Sarah (maybe Sara, dont remember exactly), and the ticket said Sorah. Almost missed the flight going back to checkin.

Domestic flight
LGA TSA made an issue. AA corrected it no problem, but waiting on line was (almost) the killer.

Any ideas?  I booked flights to Israel through priceline which are aa/elal and cant get them to change the ticket which says "sara" instead of "sarah" and new tickets so much more expensive- still within 24 hours.  please help!!

Just flew last week with pnchus instead of pinchus. On outbound Sta agent remarked about it but didn't make a fuss, and On return the check in agent needed to confirm with supervisor that it's ok. But no real issues

First suggestion from me is take off your yarmulke from when you arrive in the airport till you board the plane, so no can say they are anti-Semites and it will also not be a Chilul Hashem that a Yid is flying with someone else's ticket....
