Sprint Nextel recently settled a lawsuit over the early-termination fees (ETFs) on their contracts. I believe the it was over the fact that the ~$200 fee stayed flat even if you were on the last month of your contract. You can find details at SprintETFSettlement.com.
go on the site click on "file a claim" and fill out the form you need to have a sprint number though
here is the cool part even if you did not cancle service in middle of contract you could say that you were afraid to because of the ETF and they will send you $35
if actualy did cancle its $90
