I always buy and advise so to all my cleints. For the insurance itself, it's really cheap, starting from around $24 a person

What's the advantage of these insurance vs what a good credit card, like Sapphire Reserve, covers?
And how do these compare to the insurance that the airline offers when you make the booking?

Those don't provide full coverage usually. For example the Reserve only covers up to $2500 and only for those on the actual account. Basically if someone has a real emergency with those they are better off filing it as a missing suitcase than an amputated foot.

My experience, had far a better, quicker, easier results from Travel Guard then from Chase Sapphire Preferred.

Keep in mind, Chase does not handle the insurance, it's goes off to Visa who sends it off to someone else

Those insurances don't cover medical.
Covers $2,500 medical/dental for cardholder and their immediate family when 100+ miles from home on a trip that is 5-60 days long.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

I only started buying recently. First time I bought my bags got delayed 2 days, and I got reimbursed $600. Since then I alway buy, usually costs me $42 for to a 30 day trip. I think it's travelex that the broker sells me. It take 8 minutes on the phone the first time, and now that she has my profile it only takes 2-3 minutes to get covered.

I usually pay less than that for $500K medical evacuation coverage and $250K primary medical besides for all the additional coverages like trip delay, lost baggage, missed connections....

Do they give you a lump of cash for any trip delay, or only reimburse for expenses related to the delay? I find that with most insurances, they only reimburse for expenses which is usually covered by the airline anyway. Same goes for lost baggage.

Some lump some reimbursement. But obviously can double dip.
