Lenovo denies that it violated the law or that its practices were wrongful in any way, but has agreed to settle the case to avoid the expense and uncertainty of litigation.
The proposed settlement will pay $50 for each computer or tablet purchased from Lenovo’s website, other than a “ThinkPad” branded product, between December 1, 2014 and December 31, 2015.
To receive your $50 payment, you must submit a claim by June 26, 2017.
