Site said that I'm eligible but had trouble completing order...credit card doesn't match the address or something like that...Can I call to finalize?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

This issues is well known, and the way to complete your account is to call  (866)782-8777 ( Sprint promo direct line) and mention that you are in process of applying online for the "bring Verizon line & get one year free Sprint service" but received an error at the final step and you want to continue with your tentative account ( partially opened account).

Don't forget to ask your agent ( over the phone) to please wave the activation fee ( the shipping fee can't be waved)

If this advice helped you please like my comment.

Note: it normally takes 20-30 min for the slow agents from Pakistan

Hows the service so far with sprint in US major cities?
So far phone service seems fine in cle, but data is occasionally slow. Might be my phone, though

Anyone have experience with adding a line to this promo? I just switched to Sprint with this promo. I am eligible for an additional 4 lines. Want to add a second line for my kid to plan for free. Asked Sprint, one agent said just bring a phone and your good to go, the other said I need to port over a number from an existing carrier. Question has any one did this yet, and will a prepaid phone work? If so which ones.

This issues is well known...
Called at that number...they had no record of a pending order, and told me I will need to provide Verizon account number and PIN. My service is with Page Plus. I believe someone mentioned that it should work as long as promo site says I'm eligible...

Switched to Sprint due to lack of service with Verizon (in NYC and Long Island) and could not be happier with my choice. Better price, service, and CS.
I've never heard that before, I'm considering switching from Sprint to Verizon due to their terrible coverage & not having date whilst placing calls

If I open with one port-in number, any reason I shouldn't be able to later port in a different number?
[ETA: chat rep (DROCR) claims you need to keep original port in number)^

what do we estimate monthly costs for this line for NY based accounts? $10 all-in? more? less?

I just tried with a Ting (formerly R+) number and number was rejected from preliminary page
same IMEI with Tmo number was 'accepted'

Hey all,

Wanted to know if anyone had experience with this deal in my situation.

I'm currently using a Prepaid Plan (with Truphone), and don't want to lose the line, so porting from there isn't really an option. But for this Sprint deal, you must port in a number.

Does anyone know how I can activate a prepaid line on another carrier really quickly, and then just port that in? Will I be able to port out a line I just activated? Also, how will Sprint even verify that I own this number, if it's prepaid? What information do we need to provide them at the time we execute the port? I've actually never done a number port in the US.

If anyone has any ideas which prepaid carrier I should use for this, I'd appreciate it. My first thought was Verizon prepaid, since it's the best chance of working with the Sprint deal.

Thanks all!

I ported in 2 lines from T-Mobile prepaid.
After it was already activated I tried to get a different number online from,my account. And the system did not allow it.

Looks like My first bill will be around $10. But I realized that they have not activated autopay. So I activated it and they said that the discount will be as of next bill.

Because R+ runs on the sprint network. So,they have the number in their system
