I dont know what you wrote on your application. Usually best is to write it is a new business, so if they ask for tax returns you could say you didn't file yet.

Best is to spend slowly, and do not do any of the possible FR triggers, and hopefully you will be fine.

well the applications(for business Gold) says $0-50k for business income and 0-5 years for time in business; so I really didn't lie there at all.  I just upgraded from gold to platinum for the 30k bonus and need to hit the 10k spend and was worried about drawing attention to the card.  So you think if I stay away from buying amex gc's , AP and rite aid, etc that I should be okay ?

amex plat buiz & gold buiz. i basically wiggled out of the spending from friend but have 2 send in tax from (even though i already sent it in for my apps to get approved) she was real nice and said she will give me credit line & will try to give me enough to make the 20k spending threshold for the sign up

Amex asked me who is my employer I said self employed then she asked me what's my company name I said I do business on ebay then she asked what's the name. I really don't have one and I don't file taxes what should I do?

So there's nothing to be scared of IMHO. I did 30K on 6 brand new cards the first week I had them I got F/Rd and passed with flying colors!
