Donno. I did. It was during the april-may amex churning saga. I opened 3 spg's at once, whilst already having one. Got points for some of them. Point is I closed three of them just now. And I plan on doing alot of big spending now on them. Should I be concerned?

Keep them open till after the big spending. So Your Debt To credit ratio is lower.

They all had very low credit line. Totaling $4k

Now I have one spg one platinum and one blue. I had closed the mb platinum a while ago.

My question is if I do big spend on my three open cards now. Will I potentially cause an fr since I just closed 3 spg cards?

Ohhh I thought you were saying that you had 3 more SPG.

Anyway, I don't see why big spending after closing cards is risky. I have basically only used my AMEXs for big spending and then not touched them since.

an account that was closed 3 years ago due to an fr, account holder is now getting targetted invitations by mail, does that mean they have better chances of getting back in?

All depends on if he had an income on his last tax return, if he did just apply for a card they'll ask you for the 4506-t and he'll pass.

Time past by, and offers sent in the mail, does not better any chances, same as no time past and no offers in the mail doesn't mean you're still doomed..

Everything depends on his financial status, F/R is no Chase A/A.

If I got a phone message from Amex FR team, does that mean that I am about to be FRed? 

Why does the wiki say to shut down the cards immediately if we can not provide the documents that they want?  What can happen?  (I read the wiki and many of the 220 pages, not all)

From my limited experience... so all you experts please CMIIW
1. I don't think this is a FR. It may mean that you will be FRed soon. When that happened to me, I got a FR about 2 weeks later. So you might want to exercise caution now in case it helps.
2. As long as you have income on the books you should be able to provide the docs they need. In my case it wasn't much, just a paper to fill out allowing them to see my tax returns for the last 2 years.

about a year ago I gave someone my info so they can add me as an a/u on 2 Amex cards that person also apllied for a spg for me and reported income of 50 k Amex sent me a letter asking for proof of income... back then I shrugged it off and didn't respond - letting the application expire. My question is does this mean I was FRd and I won't be able to aplly 4 an Amex forever?
Will it help to dispute? (I didn't ask him to apply 4 the card) THANKS

i had amex asking for tax info and applied few month later and was instantly approved it seams like that if you have limited credit history amex will ask for proof of income and few month later when you established some history amex wont need tax info anymore YMMV

Amex shut down all my accounts!! Just like that, with no prior warnings!! IDK what happened, i had an FR this summer which I passed and now this... :-
What should I do? I got a message on Shabbos from a FR rep but she's not in office till Tuesday!
I was due to receive my 100k MR and now it's all lost.

Did you do any MS?
