Ended up being a rep telling me that if i wanted to be approved for the delta card i applied for i would need to close a diff card bc im at the 5 cc limit (which doesn’t include charge cards). I didn’t realize they were so strict about this

Just got a call that my business cards are under FR. I didn't actually speak to the rep beyond him informing me of the fr, as I told him I would call him back later when I had more time. I've had multiple FRs before that affected all my cards, personal and business, but he did state that in this case it was business only and they would be looking for business info from me.

What info should I expect they will ask for? Any business profit I make is included on my personal return, and is not that significant (although my total income on tax return should be enough to pass FR)

Interestingly enough, my business cards don't actually appear to be frozen right now

I missed the minimum payment on my amex platinum card, and I noticed now that they downgraded my credit limit on another account, do I need to worry that I will be inder F/R?

Also can amex take away my MR points for a account being passed due, should I move them out?

Anything can trigger an FR.
They wont take away any points in your account they will just not post the pending points, you could reinstate it with a fee

if its the first time that you will reinstate points, you can ask them to reinstate without the fee as a one time courtesy.

And it's back again... I called Amex about issue I was having and they told me I was in FR. They sent me an email and told me to send in last 2 months of bank statements no tax documents. Also, on my online account it doesn't say the usual "critical account status".

What can I expect? Is this regular FR?

Please don't scream, but yes people have been successful, six months is considered the safe window.

i may be back on with amex after i got shut down for f/r and then then my citi transferred over to amex hilton. nervous if i start spending to double dip on the free night i may get flagged again and then lose my free night cert earned from citi because my card anniversary is not due till june and then i would lose the cert?

Very interesting, did you close the cards, or they did?
