Supposedly it won't cause corrosion after it filters the water.

Supposedly it won't cause corrosion after it filters the water.

Not true. It will mitigate it once the salts are out but rust will happen either way. In my setup I used the condensate water.

Either way it is definitely worthwhile to clean off the outdoor coils from dust which accumulates on them.
