I'm sure most accounting firms could do it, I wonder if turbotax can.

I called my accountant, who handles my personal tax stuff, and asked him.

He told me that officially you have to live in the states in order to do it and he does not want to get involved in it.

I tried getting an accountant no one wanted the job so i did it myself  8) 8)
Check out turbo tax it is free if your income is within a certain bracket (otherwise there is a minimal fee) and they do the whole thing for you
Spent about 2 hours doing it but got my refund check within 3 weeks
it CAN be done!

What I meant was did you use a US address or an Israeli one?

You must file taxes regardless. There are treaties which will let you minimize double-taxing, so you can deduct part of taxes paid to another country. Similar to what they habe between states (which are not always great savings). Otherwise there isn't much of a difference in the Federal tax requirement, (although this law is often disregarded, except when it comes to claiming child credits ;-), it is not very easy to enforce as the host country often will not cooperate with the IRS, although as of late some Israeli banks are reportedly increasing cooperation).

I think I understand, basically if you make a good living $250,000+ there is absolutely nothing to be gained?
