California Honeymoon- Where to stay??

My wife and I are taking our honeymoon from July 17-24. We are looking to spend a couple of days in San Francisco, a day or two near Yosemite, Santa Barbara, and LA.

Looking for recommendations for good bang for your buck places (hotels) to stay in these cities, and/or any others nearby! Thank you!!!
