Cell Phone Troubleshooting/Help Master Thread
« on: July 05, 2017, 07:17:05 PM »
Starting it off...

I connected my iPod via Bluetooth to a 2015 Camry and it works perfectly. I connected cell phone and it keeps connecting and disconnecting again and again. Someone told me that old phones often are incompatible with newer car systems. Is this true? Is there any fix? Googling I saw something about setting the proper Bluetooth "profile" for the phone???
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

Bump! Still haven't figured this out. Willing to buy newer basic phone but don't know what will be compatible...?

Not a troubleshooting thing but I figured I post it here rather then the deals board.

I'm looking to a car vent holder for an iphone 7. Can anyone recommend one?

Thanks
If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

I had first had a car vent one but it was pretty wobbly ended up getting one that goes into the CD slot great quality and I love it.
