{Targeted?} Get a free Echo Dot when you create a free business account

It said my code is inactive and I should wait. Looks like it got activated sometime over Shabbos.

Yeah, they seem to be doing some sort of manual verification.

Had the same issue. Chatted with them today through the business account and got the following response:

"I do apologize, it seems we would have had to send you an invitation email in order for you to receive the free Echo Dot. If the offer was not extended to you via email it is not valid"

As of late, Amazon offers are mostly targeted. The OP should put either a "targeted?" notice or a "YMMV" notice when posting about an Amazon offer. I went through the process of opening a verifying the account for nothing.
