While Qatar is currently part of oneworld, so there's still some relationship, I just hope that EY isn't eliminated as a redemption partner.

Qatar will likely remain, as they are are member of oneworld (unless AA tries to push them out, but BA/IAG will likely object) Etihad is another story, and to use a line from @Dan, it would be a sad day in this business if/when Etihad is eliminated as a redemption partner from AA.
