Personal Loans

Don't see any thread about this.

Any Recommendations where is the best place to take out a personal loan ?

How do personal loans usually compare to balance transfers in regards to interest rate etc ? e.g. loans usually have a longer time to pay off vs BT;s are max 18 - 24 months

Credit Unions are usually the best at offering generous personal loans at good rates.

It depends on if you have stated income or not.

Sofi is a great lending group with amazing rates if you have good income.

TD bank is one of the only retail banks that still offer the product at a max of 50k approval. Citi bank also offers unsecured personal loans but the list of tenure requirements is a little insane.

So either TD or a Credit union? (or are CUs not likely to offer that much)

Sofi is a good option but you need decent income to get approved

It depends on what other monthly liabilities you have on your report (they deduct all your monthly payments from your income). I would say that after all the deductions, at least another 85k

If there is a better thread, please direct me. I was wondering if anyone has an information regarding personal loans. Looking for something that is just a (smaller) loan with lower interest rates than credit cards or the likes, but isn't tied to any collateral. I've seen many advertised as CC debt consolidators, but I have no knowledge as to what "catches" I should be looking out for. Anyone who has experience or information, it would be greatly appreciated.
Memories last forever, make them while you can.

Check your credit cards to see if you've got any offers.
The best I've seen in recent years is
a) 3% fee. 0% interest. 12 months
b) 0% fee. 5% interest. 15 months

If you don't have any on your existing cards, maybe you can apply and get approved for one that has.
